Gameplay Guide

Ah, so you want to figure out how to play WvsV? Well here's the basic logistics.

This is the main navigation. It's pretty straight forward. You go on the x, y, and z vertizes. X being the West and East. Y being the North and South. Z being the Up and Down. That means that the world of WvsV is three-dimension (3d). Giving it an endless amount of world space in any and all directions.

So what's that mean? You don't fall off the face of the planet like the early people thought. Silly early people.

Anyway, onto mindless killing, bashing, smashing and breaking stuff!

This is what you quite possibly will see. By quite possibly, I mean you will see this. To start off the game, one should fight the Crippled Rat (2 west, 1 north). Which just happens to be a Level 1 monster. It however will show as a white color to you. The color coding is for this purpose:

3 or more levels above you
2 levels above you
1 level above you
Same level as you
1 level below you
2 levels below you
3 or more levels below you

Ooh, pretty. At any rate, you get exp bonuses or penalties for monsters that are higher or lower than you. I won't put the exact reward / penalties per color rating, but these are things you should know.

If you kill a monster 3 or 10 levels above you, the exp bonus will still be the same percentage. (Example: If a level 10 monster was worth 10 exp and let's say the bonus for purples was 10%, you would be awarded 11 exp for this level 10 monster. If a level 24 monster was worth 20 exp, you would be awared 22 exp, the same 10% exp bonus modifier.)

All monsters 4 levels below you will only award you 1 exp/gold max. It doesn't pay to pick on wimpy monsters. So don't do it!

Levels 1-19 get free heals when you die, to maximum health even! But after you reach that level 20 threshhold, you will spawn with only 1 hit point. So use your deaths wisely!

Damage you say? Your damage is affected by your fusion. Before I get into damage, let's explain the fusions / aura.

Attack: (2.0)
   Gold

Now what in blazes does that mean? It means that your body has been fused with Gold! Sounds risky and expensive. Well, an ancient dark art that your fore-fathers used is still in practice today. (Lucky for you eh?)

The defense thingy is self-explanatory. If your defense rating on that fusion is (3.0) it gives you a defense value of 3. Reducing the damage of enemies by 3. If the defense value were 4.0, you'd reduce damage by 4.0 points.

Auras go hand-in-hand with the defensive fusions. Your total defensive value is aura value + defensive fusion.

Damage is calculated by attack fusion value (example: 2.0) times your strength.

(2.0) * 22 = 44 damage average. But of course what fun is it if monsters don't have defensive stats of their own, along with the range of the average. But don't worry about technicals too much, just make sure you don't try to attack something too purple for ya.

Now you're armed with basic knowledge of WvsV..

Now go and play!
